We have just returned from a wonderful week in Iceland, organised by Wandering Tribe. It was perfect and exactly what we wanted and hoped for as parents of two young children, aged 2 and 4.

The accommodation picked for us was spot on and right up our street – comfortable, well equipped and with breath-taking views to match. The drives between places were just right for our young children and the stop offs and suggested activities were excellent – we particularly loved the secret lagoon, Borgarnes and the beach walk with seal bathing on the rocks. The local geothermal swimming pools were a big hit with us all.

Our two-year-old has not stopped saying “whale tail” since our whale watching trip and our four-year-old has been drawing pictures of the ponies, boat trips and volcanos. The holiday will have a lasting memory for all four of us. It was our first real holiday as a family and it couldn’t have been better! We look forward to going on another adventure through Wandering Tribe again.
